Purpose
Improve energy efficiency, stop water ingress, stop damp and create a warmer and healthier living space for the family home.
Solution
Remove all the sand and cement back to the solid wall substrate, install a vapour permeable and breathable lime render base coat prior to CorkSpray coloured through finish in Off white.
Conclusion
Once the existing water proofing sand and cement was removed the building starting to dry out, and the damp and black spot mould begin to stop. once the lime was installed the lime drew out all the remaining moisture from the inside out, providing the a dryer home without damp. Once CorkSpray was installed the need for the parents to leave dehumidifiers in they're Children's room was gone, the rooms was left warmer, dry and more energy efficient.
