Project Overview

Purpose

We were approached to provide a rustic finish to a new wine bar in London. Client wanted something different, but hard wearing, durable, thermal efficient and most importantly to follow their theme of natural and sustainable materials. The approach was to apply a Cork spray coating which provides excellent thermal efficiency but also provides sound insulation for the flats above and fire protection all in the same application. We helped the client with their vision of they new wine bar with acoustic sound insulation, increased thermal efficiency and provided additional fire protection.


Solution applied:

• Primary Product: Cork spray

• Color Selected: Extra Blanco

• Additional Materials: Plaster base coats for texture, lime renders for walls.

Conclusion

Supplied the client with a variety of natural materials and applications to fulfill the architects' designs and the project manager's vision.


Results Summary: Provided the hospitality manager with their vision using there love for natural materials, and bought the architects design to reality. Acoustic insulation for the residents above the busy vibrant London wine bar along with meeting fire resistant measures and thermal insulation qualities.
