Purpose

Provide a thermal correction to the solid wall home, stop water ingress, damp and cold spots.

Solution

We stripped of the plaster back to the brick and the outer brickwork was repointed with lime render. We applied 4mm of natural cork to all external walls, internally, before applying a skim plaster finish.

Conclusion

We eradicated the damp and condensation issue.

The house now boasts a significant thermal efficiency with walls now warm to the touch.
